I return ten minutes later to be scolded by the doctor for leaving…? As he no longer has time for procedure. So i leave after being declined this to go get the remaining cash. Mearly to pay balance just after surgery. The good doctor informs me he will not allow this and is running a business and needs to make money. Brought 700 of 1000 dollars for surgery and asked that i be allowed to drop remaining balance off after surgery. Here i am the next day for my 1130 to have teeth pulled, up all night couldnt sleep, again. After the accusations and my display of dissatisfaction and insult, the good doctor informs me i should come back tomorrow for the surgery and to make sure i was “not under the influence of drugs” after we just had two exchanges concerning his direspectful tone and demeanor from begining of visit. Not that it mattered, of course, to him at all. After listening to dr speak for 10 minutes(which fells like years when your in such a state of pain) finally lets me get a word in edgewise.

Unfortuantely this pattern remained prevelant throughout the duration of my visit. I reacted in a manner that surely displayed my disdain for his accusation and demonstration of disrespect. After asking for a prescription orajel or a similar product with a higher value in pain management, i was accused of drug seeking and being on drugs at time. Cannot work or use tools due to vibrations causing pain. Two teeth past root canal therapy in constant pain for weeks cannot eat sleep or drink. I was treated as less than a person and with absolutely no sympathy or empathy for my pain. My experience was of the poorest quality. I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon's knife or the chemist's drug This does not seem to apply to dr bruce cutilli. I will apply, for the benefit of the sick, all measures are required, avoiding those twin traps of overtreatment and therapeutic nihilism.
